If you are noticing audio is playing out of your computer headphones or a different source, use these instructions to change your audio output source. Typically the audio output device is set incorrectly within the operating system and needs to be changed.
Please:
- Verify speakers are plugged into a power source (if powered)
- Verify speakers are plugged into the headphone jack
- Verify the audio output source is set to speakers in the Operating System
- If Windows 10/11:
- Click the "Sound" icon in the taskbar
- Click the upward "Carrot" icon
- Select Headphones
- If Mac OS X:
- Open System Preferences
- Double-Click Sound
- Double-Click Headphones
