IT Event Support Statement

The Mount Marty IT department is committed to ensuring Students, Staff and Faculty have the proper resources as well as technical support for their next on campus event. With limited offerings and services, the IT department will assist you to the best of their ability as some accommodations can not be met. The following guidelines and requirements are meant to ensure those resources are secure, easy to use, and available when needed. 

 

Notes for requesters: A two (2) week minimum notice is required. Using personal equipment combined with MMU equipment may result in incompatibility and technical issues may arise. The IT department does not specialize in event support but the department will make all attempts to successfully meet your accommodations. Operating hours remain within 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday, special arrangements can be made with proper notice. 

Services/Equipment We Provide:

  • Loaner Laptops for use at an Event (Operating System - Windows 11)

  • Media Cart 

    • Features: Laptop, Speakers, and Projector

  • Wired Microphones or Wireless Microphone  (1 Audio Source can be Supported)

  • Projectors / Projector Screen

  • Large Projector / Large Projector Screen 

  • Zoom Webinar Livestream 

    • Zoom Webinar License - $79.00/month (Purchased by the Department)

    • Limit of 500 attendees / Limit of 100 panelists

Services/Equipment We Do Not Provide:

  • Event Support off MMU Yankton Campus Grounds

  • Lapel Microphones

  • Wireless Presentation Clickers

  • Multiple Camera Angles

  • Wireless Speakers 

  • Music Services
