Connecting a Computer to the Student Wireless

The following Antivirus Software Packages are known to cause issues.

Webroot / AVG / Avast

 

  1. On your laptop and connect to the connect_mountmarty wireless.

  1. Once you are connected to connect_mountmarty open a web browser if it has not opened already.

  1. Type in www.mountmarty.edu and you will be re-directed to the access portal.

  1. Check the “I agree to the Terms & Conditions” box and click the start button.

  1. Next click the “Staff/Faculty/Students” option.

  1. Type in your Mount Marty Username and Password and click the “Continue” button.

  1. Click "Continue" if the Certificate page appears.

  1. Now click the “Download for Windows” or if you are on a Mac “Download for Mac”.

  1. Run the file after it is downloaded. You may see a SmartScreen popup in Windows click the “Run Anyway” box to continue. On a Mac open the Cloudpath folder from your “downloads” and run the “Cloudpath” file.

  1. Cloudpath will now download and run the app. In Windows you will see a certificate security warning. Please click the “Yes” button. 

  1. On Mac you will see a box that will say Cloudpath is an application downloaded from the internet. Click the “Open” button.

  1. Mac you will have to type your local computer username and password for your computer to authenticate the program to run. This is not your Mount Marty credentials!

The program should now tell you that you are Successfully Connected.
