MacOS - Yankton Mobility Print
-
First, Make sure your MMU ID card is authorized by one of the printers on campus. Simply swipe your card and enter in your MMU username and password to authenticate your ID card with the printers.
-
To configure your MacOS device for campus printing, open your System Preferences and go to Printers and Scanners.
-
Select Add a Printer, Scanner, or Fax...
-
Add Yankton Mobility Print.
-
Verify Yankton Mobility Print has been added to your list of Printers.
-
Next, Print a desired document.
-
Select the desired printer, in this case, Yankton Mobility Print. Then Print.
-
Once printing, you will notice a Print Center popup in your system Dock. Open it and view your print job.
-
If you are printing for the first time, you need to hit the "refresh" button on the far right of the print job. This will allow you to enter your MMU credentials for authentication. Note: We recommend saving these MMU credentials to your keychain so you do not run into this issue again.
-
Once your have entered your credentials, print, and you should notice the print job disappear. If the job has disappeared, this means that the device has properly communicated to the printer and your print job is ready for printing. If the print job does not disappear and it remains in the print center, you have not successfully sent a print job.
