Recovering a Deleted or Damaged File

If you need to recover or have accidentally deleted a file, please try the following steps to recover your data. 

  1. Right-click on the folder that contained the deleted information
  2. Click Properties
  3. Click Previous Versions
    Note: You will be presented with a list of folders sorted by Date modified
  4. Double click on the most recent folder that should contain the deleted information
    Note: A second File Explorer window will open
  5. Right click on the deleted file
  6. Click Copy
  7. Close the File Explorer window
  8. Click OK
  9. Right click in the original folder
  10. Click Paste
