How to update “Meet the Faculty”
WARNING!!!!
Please do not rename "Meet the Faculty." Doing so interferes with our reporting process and will prevent you from receiving credit for completing this academic requirement.
- Enter https://blackboard.mountmarty.edu/ into a web browser and press the “Enter” key.
- In the top left of the screen, select Courses.
- Select desired course
- Click on “Getting Started” module.
- Select “Meet the Faculty”
- In the top right corner, select “Edit Content”.
Upload a picture
- Hover over the video.
- Select the three dots in the top right corner.
- Click on the video.
- Select the trashcan icon
- Select the image button on the toolbar.
- Select “Upload file”
NOTE: You can only use images that are saved as a .JPEG or PNG with a Maximum file size of 10,240 MB
- Navigate to desired file.
- Select the “Open” button.
- Preview your image.
- Select the “Next” button.
- Select dropdown arrow.
- Select the desired Aspect Ratio.
- If desired, click and drag the slider to zoom in and out of the photo for desired effect.
- Select the “Next” button.
- Select “View Only”
- Select the “Save” button.
- Hover over the text that already exists.
- To remove all text, right click on your mouse
- Select “Select all”.
- Click the “Backspace” key on your keyboard.
- Click into the blank text box.
- Type your introduction or paste verbiage from a different document into the text field.
- In the top right corner, select the “Save” button.
- You have successfully updated “Meet the Faculty” in your course.
