Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication

If you are receiving this popup when logging in, please use the following instructions to setup Microsoft Authenticator.

 

Setting up Microsoft Authenticator with the Application (OPTION 1)

  1. Sign in to your MMU provided account HERE
  2. Download the Microsoft Authenticator Application on your Mobile Devices (iOS or Android)
  3. Scan the Microsoft provided QR code within your Microsoft Authenticator App
    1. If you cannot scan the QR code, there is an option to enter a code manually
  4. Once configured, the application will test the authentication method by requiring you to confirm your mobile app with the on-screen code provided
  5. You have now setup Microsoft Authenticator.

To view the One-Time Password Code within the Application

  1. Log in to the mobile app (Microsoft Authenticator)
  2. Select the bottom tab of "Authenticator"
  3. Select your MMU Account
  4. Your time sensitive passcode will be listed under "One-time password code"
    1. Note: This changes every 30 seconds

Setting up Microsoft MFA with your Phone or Email (OPTION 2)

  1. Sign in to your MMU provided account HERE
  2. Select "I want to set up a different method"
  3. Choose the method you would like to use:
    1. App
    2. Phone
    3. Email
  4. Enter your phone number or email address here
  5. Select Next and verify your sign in with the applicable device
