Note: Adobe offers a free online option to convert PDFs to Word documents
Adobe Acrobat
- Open a file in Adobe Acrobat
- Click Export PDF tool in the right pane
- Choose Microsoft Word as your export format
- Choose Word Document
- Click Export
Note: If your PDF contains scanned text, Acrobat will run text recognition automatically
- Name the Word file and save it in desired location

- Click File
- Click Open
- Select .PDF file
- Click OK
- Name the Word file and save it in desired location
