LancerSolutions vs. LancerLink: Which One Should You Use?

At Mount Marty University, we use two portals to support our campus community: LancerSolutions and LancerLink. While they may sound similar, each serves a distinct purpose. Knowing when to use each system ensures your requests are handled efficiently and routed to the right team.

 

What is LancerSolutions?

LancerSolutions is MMU’s centralized service portal for submitting technical support requests, facilities issues, and general service needs. Most importantly, it serves as a comprehensive Knowledge Base, offering helpful articles contributed by nearly every department across campus. Whether you’re trying to figure out how to pay a bill, troubleshoot a tech issue, or request maintenance, LancerSolutions is your go-to resource.

Use LancerSolutions for:

  • Helpful Articles sources for almost ALL departments on campus
  • IT support (e.g., computer issues, software access, account problems)
  • Facilities requests (e.g., maintenance, room setup, heating/cooling concerns)
  • Campus safety concerns
  • Links to all MMU Services or Systems

 

What is LancerLink?

LancerLink is your hub for academic and student life services. It’s designed to help students and faculty connect with campus resources, track progress, and access support related to advising, registration, & campus life.

Use LancerLink for:

  • Students - Register for classes, Find your Class Schedule, Pay a bill, Accept Financial Aid offer, Forms
  • Faculty/Staff - Academic advising, Directory, Course planning, and Academic Forms
