Whether you are a new Mitel office phone user or are looking to make changes to your voicemail box, this article will assist in setting up your voicemail inbox.
Here you will learn how to:
- Reset or create a security code
- Record your name
- Record or change your greeting
- Configure voicemail to email
Creating a Security Code
- Select the Mail icon to begin
- Enter your security code, if you have never created a code, please enter the default code of 1111
- If the default code do not work, reach out to the IT Helpdesk HERE
- After entering the default code (1111) it will prompt your to create a personal security code
- Enter your new security code
- Re-enter your new security code for verification
- Your new security code will now be set
Record your Name
- After you have setup your security code, the system will prompt you to set up a Name tied to the device
- Record your Name after the beep, press any key when you are done
Change your Greeting
- After you have recorded your Name, the system will prompt you to change your Greeting
- Begin speaking after the beep, press any key when you are done
- If this is acceptable press 1, to review press 2, and to re-record press 3
Configure Voicemail messages to Email Inbox
- This feature takes voicemail messages left on your device and transcribes them into a MP4 file that is sent to your email inbox provided.
