Before you begin:

Close Extra Programs: Close any unnecessary tabs or programs running in the background to avoid interruptions.
Installing Respondus Lockdown Browser:

D2L Exam Info: Head to your D2L course and locate the exam you need to take.

Look for Installation Link: Within the exam information or instructions, your instructor might provide a specific link to install the Chromebook extension for Respondus Lockdown Browser.
Note: Unlike other extensions, Respondus Lockdown Browser isn't available in the Chrome Web Store. You'll need the specific link provided by your instructor.

Click the Link: Once you find the installation link, click on it.

Install Confirmation: A confirmation window will pop up. Click "Add extension" to begin the installation process.

Restart Chromebook (if needed): In some cases, you might need to restart your Chromebook for the changes to take effect.
Taking the Exam with Respondus Lockdown Browser:

Log in to D2L: Access your D2L course and log in with your usual credentials.

Find the Exam: Navigate to the specific exam you need to take.

Launch Button: Look for a button labeled "Launch Respondus Lockdown Browser" or something similar within the exam information.

Click to Launch: Clicking this button will initiate the Respondus Lockdown Browser and take you directly into your exam.
