Computer is Frozen or is Locking Up

In some cases, your device may run into slow response times or even freeze up. The computer won't respond or connect to the Internet. If you are having issues opening documents, launching programs, or logging into your account, take a look at the provided steps to help resolve your issue. 

Please:

  1. Turn off the computer by holding the power button on the computer in for 10 seconds
  2. Turn the system back on
  3. If the computer still is experiencing the problem, please contact the IT helpdesk with the following information
    1. Name
    2. Location of the computer
    3. Computer number
