Password Management

In this thread, you will find the resources that will aid you in changing your password for your Mount Marty Account. If you are needing to change your password or have forgotten your current password and need to reset it, you can find support here.

Enroll in Password Recovery System

First things first, if you have a Mount Marty Account, you must enroll in the Password Recovery System to use any of these functions. (This typically happens immediately after you have onboarded with your new account.) 

Once configured, you will then have the ability to use the "Forgot Password" or "Change Password" links. 

 

Password Management

After enrollment in the password recovery system, If your password has expired or you feel the need to change it, you can select Change Password to get started.  If you have forgotten your password or have been locked out of your account, select Forgot Password to get started. 

How to Reset your Password

  • To reset your password, visit https://account.mountmarty.edu/ 
  • Select "Change Password"
  • Enter your Mount Marty username and your current password, then proceed
  • Enter your new password and re-enter it for confirmation.
  • Select "Change"

Password Requirements:

  • The password must be at least 10 characters long
  • Does not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters.
  • Use atleast three of the four following character types:
    • Number
    • Special character (e.g. !, $, #, %)
    • Upper case character
    • Lower case character
